Daily intake of essential vitamins is necessary for children’s growth and development. Vitamins A, D, E, B-complex, and liposomal iron are essential nutrients that help maintain children’s health and strengthen the immune system. The use of liposomal formulation helps reduce side effects, and in this product, iron is provided in a liposomal coating.
Liposofermulti® Syrup is a 200 ml oral suspension with pineapple flavor.
Due to the liposomal form of iron in this product, gastrointestinal side effects are reduced and it does not interfere with the concurrent use of other medications. In addition, tooth and gum discoloration does not occur with this formulation. Lipozufer Multi syrup provides children’s daily requirements of B-group vitamins, vitamins A, D, and E, as well as liposomal iron.

Iron deficiency is the most common cause of anemia. Iron is an essential mineral for growth and development. The body uses iron to produce hemoglobin and myoglobin, and it is also required for the synthesis of certain hormones. The body’s need for iron increases after 4 months of age in infants who are breastfed, and in addition to breast milk, iron supplements should be used to meet their requirements. Long-term iron deficiency can lead to problems in physical growth, neurological, mental, cognitive, behavioral development, and memory in children.
Due to the lack of direct contact between iron molecules encapsulated in liposomes and the gastrointestinal tract, oral surfaces such as gums and teeth, as well as food and medications, liposomal iron does not cause the common side effects of iron supplements such as metallic taste, gastrointestinal issues like constipation and stomach pain, gum and tooth discoloration, or interactions with other medications and foods such as dairy products and milk. Liposomes are a type of drug delivery system in which the active pharmaceutical ingredient is enclosed within very small lipid particles to form a liposomal molecule. This dosage form is absorbed more easily in the body and allows a greater amount of the drug to reach the target area.
Maintaining bone health throughout life is associated with vitamin D, as this vitamin promotes calcium absorption in the intestines. Due to the physiological conditions of the growth period and the low vitamin D content in breast milk, infants and children have a high requirement for vitamin D, and deficiency during this period is common. Severe vitamin D3 deficiency in children leads to rickets, while in adults it causes osteomalacia. Vitamin D3 supports immune system function, muscle activity, and reduces the risk of various cancers and autoimmune diseases such as multiple sclerosis.
Another essential fat-soluble vitamin required for growth, development, maintenance of vision, and strengthening of the immune system is vitamin A. Its deficiency leads to reduced resistance to infections, night blindness, and delayed growth.
Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant, meaning it protects the body’s cells against damage and can help strengthen the immune system.
B-complex vitamins are water-soluble vitamins that play an essential role in cellular metabolism and the proper functioning of the nervous system. These vitamins help the body convert food into energy, supporting healthy metabolism, and also contribute to the production of new blood cells.
Folic acid, or vitamin B9, acts as a cofactor in many biological reactions in the body for energy production, and its deficiency leads to an increased concentration of homocysteine.
Vitamin B12 can help in the synthesis of nucleoproteins and myelin, cell regeneration, normal body growth, and the normal formation of red blood cells (improving oxygen delivery to the body). Vitamin B12 can be effective in the synthesis of carbohydrates, fats, and proteins.
Thiamine, or vitamin B1, is an essential coenzyme for carbohydrate metabolism that can produce energy through the metabolism of carbohydrates.
Riboflavin, or vitamin B2, is an essential B vitamin required for tissue respiration. It plays a role in oxidation–reduction reactions involving organic substrates, in intermediary metabolism, and in maintaining red blood cells.
Vitamin B3 is easily absorbed in the body. This vitamin helps produce energy from food as a cofactor in the mitochondrial respiratory chain.
Vitamin B6 is required for the metabolism of amino acids, carbohydrates, and fats. A deficiency of this vitamin in the body can affect the peripheral nerves, skin, mucous membranes, and the hematopoietic system.
This product is well tolerated and has no side effects when taken in the recommended dosage.
Excessive intake of vitamins D3, A, and E can cause issues such as kidney, eye, and liver damage, as well as an increased risk of bleeding, and more.
This product has no specific drug interactions with pediatric medications.
