Carnitine is a compound derived from the amino acids methionine and lysine that helps with metabolism and energy production from food. It is naturally produced in the body and has broad effects on metabolism and energy supply. Additionally, by affecting male reproductive cells, this amino acid increases sperm strength, motility, and count, thereby improving fertility potential.
L-Carnitine BSK® is an oral tablet with a dosage of 1 gram of L-arginine.
This product is effective in improving metabolism and fat oxidation, improving physical performance, reducing fatigue, and improving male fertility.

L-carnitine is synthesized in the human brain, liver, and kidneys from the amino acids methionine and lysine. Carnitine breaks down fatty acids to supply cellular energy; in fact, it transports fatty acids into the mitochondria (the intracellular organelle responsible for energy production) to be used for energy generation. It also transfers toxic compounds produced by this organelle out of the cell to prevent toxin accumulation. Carnitine accumulates in tissues such as skeletal and cardiac muscles that use fatty acids as a primary energy source. This compound can have broad effects on metabolism and energy supply in the body. Additionally, by affecting sperm cells, this amino acid can help increase sperm strength, motility, and count, thereby improving fertility rates.
Oral intake of L-carnitine may cause side effects including nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps, heartburn, gastritis, diarrhea, and headache.
To reduce digestive side effects, it can be taken with or after meals.
Avoid taking this product simultaneously with hypothyroidism medications and warfarin.
People with hypothyroidism (due to interference with thyroid hormones) and epilepsy (due to the possibility of increased severity and frequency of seizures) should consult a doctor before use.
No specific case is known.
There are no adequate and well-controlled studies available in pregnant women. Use of this supplement during pregnancy is recommended only if prescribed by a physician.
Given the presence and secretion of L-carnitine in breast milk, no adverse effects have been reported following the consumption of L-carnitine present in breast milk or infant formula, nor from high maternal doses of this substance during breastfeeding.
Store at a temperature below 25°C and away from light, moisture, frost and the reach of children.
