Therapeutic effects and pharmacology:

A liposome is a type of drug delivery system in which the active ingredient is enclosed within tiny lipid-based particles, forming a liposomal molecule. This formulation is more easily absorbed in the body and delivers a higher amount of the drug to the target area. Because the iron molecules are encapsulated within the liposome and do not come into direct contact with the gastrointestinal tract, oral surfaces such as gums and teeth, or foods and medications, liposomal iron avoids common side effects of iron supplementation, including metallic taste, gastrointestinal issues like constipation and abdominal pain, tooth and gum discoloration, and interactions with other drugs or foods such as dairy products and milk.

Side effects:

In this product, due to the inclusion of iron ions in the liposome structure, digestive side effects have been reduced to a minimum.

Drug interactions:

Unlike other iron products, this formulation, due to its liposomal nature, does not interact with drugs such as antacids, H2 blockers, or proton pump inhibitors, and a minimum 2-hour interval between doses is not required. Liposomal iron also has fewer food interactions and can be taken with dairy products.

Precautions and warnings:

People with normal iron levels should not take iron supplements on a regular basis.

To ensure you take the correct amount of product, use the graduated dropper included in the box.

Accidental or excessive iron intake in children can cause poisoning. Therefore, do not exceed the prescribed dose and keep the product out of reach of children.
