Carotenoids are natural compounds that can have beneficial effects on eye health. Lutein and zeaxanthin, two of several carotenoid derivatives, protect the eyes from harmful light waves and help prevent the progression of vision blurriness. Other vitamins such as E and C, as well as compounds like zinc and fish oil, also play a role in supporting eye health.

Lutein and zeaxanthin are natural carotenoids and precursors of vitamin A that help protect the eyes against harmful rays such as ultraviolet (UV) radiation. They may also help prevent the progression of blurred vision and reduce the risk of developing cataracts.
DHA is an omega-3 fatty acid that plays an important role in improving vision and maintaining eye health, and can reduce the symptoms of dry eye syndrome.
Vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin that is often used as an antioxidant. It prevents the formation of free radicals and is used to improve or prevent blurred vision, vision loss, and eye inflammation.
Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin. Long-term use of vitamin C may reduce the risk of developing cataracts.
Zinc plays a key role in maintaining vision and forming eye pigments, and its deficiency can cause night blindness. Zinc also acts as an antioxidant.
This product is completely safe and well tolerated when taken at the recommended dosages.
Rare side effects of this product include diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, headache, rash, and a metallic taste in the mouth.
Taking it with calcium reduces zinc absorption.
Zinc reduces the absorption of antibiotics from the quinolone family (ciprofloxacin, ofloxacin, gemifloxacin, levofloxacin, moxifloxacin) and the tetracycline family (tetracycline, doxycycline, minocycline); therefore, if taking these antibiotics, they should be administered 2 hours before or 4–6 hours after taking PerfectVision3® capsules.
Taking DHA with blood pressure-lowering medications may cause low blood pressure.
