For many individuals, taking iron supplements has always been associated with challenges such as gastrointestinal side effects and an unpleasant metallic taste, which has reduced the willingness to use iron supplements. The use of liposomal formulation in the flavored capsule product Lipozoferr Forte has minimized common iron-related gastrointestinal issues and reduced interactions with dairy products and other medications taken simultaneously.
Lipozoferr Forte Capsules® are the first flavored capsules in Iran containing liposomal iron, folic acid, and vitamins B12 and C.
Due to the liposomal iron formulation in this product, its absorption and effectiveness are enhanced, and gastrointestinal side effects as well as interactions with other medications and dairy products are not a concern. Lipozoferr Forte capsules are an ideal supplement to support red blood cell production, help prevent anemia, and maintain overall health.

Fatigue, weakness, and hair loss can also result from iron deficiency. Iron is a mineral that the body needs for growth and development. It is used to produce hemoglobin and myoglobin, and is also required for the synthesis of certain hormones. The most common cause of anemia is iron deficiency. Long-term iron deficiency can lead to health problems such as anemia.
A liposome is a type of drug delivery system in which the active ingredient is enclosed within very small lipid particles to form a liposomal molecule. This pharmaceutical form is absorbed more easily in the body and allows a greater amount of the drug to reach the target site. Because the encapsulated iron molecules do not come into direct contact with the gastrointestinal tract, oral surfaces (such as gums and teeth), food, or other medications, liposomal iron does not cause common iron-related side effects such as metallic taste, gastrointestinal discomfort (including constipation and abdominal pain), gum and teeth discoloration, or interactions with foods and medications such as dairy products and milk.
Vitamin B12 is a water-soluble vitamin. It acts as a cofactor for important enzymes in the body and is essential for the proper development and function of the central nervous system, the formation of healthy red blood cells, DNA synthesis, and the prevention of megaloblastic anemia.
Common gastrointestinal side effects of iron include abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting. In this product, due to the encapsulation of iron ions within a liposomal structure and the lack of direct contact between iron ions and the body’s internal surfaces, gastrointestinal side effects are minimized.
Unlike other iron products, due to its liposomal nature, this formulation does not interact with medications such as antacids, H2 receptor blockers, or proton pump inhibitors. Therefore, maintaining a minimum 2-hour interval between doses is not necessary.
Liposomal iron has fewer food interactions and can be consumed with dairy products.
Individuals with normal iron levels should not use iron supplements on a long-term basis.
In cases of hemosiderosis, hemochromatosis, thalassemia, sideroblastic anemia, or hemolytic anemia, this product should be used with caution and only under medical supervision.
If you have a history of allergy to any of the ingredients used in this product, avoid using it.
